Accommodations

The new Horizon Suite Apartment features a totally equipped kitchen that's fully stocked for breakfast and snacks. French doors lead to your bedroom that has a queen size bed under an antique stained glass window. If your party exceeds two adults, we also have available within our home the Gold Room.

You may barbeque on your patio or stroll down the short path to your private beach and fire pit. Observe an eagle's nest and enjoy the majestic vistas of the Mendenhall Glacier and the snow capped Chilkat Mountain Range. The grounds at Gill's are beautifully landscaped. Feel free to stroll around and enjoy the garden. If you are an ornithologist or an avid bird watcher, this is paradise. Hiking trails and excellent salmon fishing are within walking distance.

The new Horizon Apartment Suite offers deluxe accommodations and privacy on the water. The apartment has a private entrance and is considered unhosted in that the owners do not share any of the living space. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a microwave, washer/dryer, telephone with answering machine, Internet access, TV/VCR and CD.

Within our home we have the Gold Room. With a water view, the Gold Room has a private bath across the hall, antique furniture, a brass bed, TV and telephone. Cooked or continental breakfast is also provided.

Your humorous and helpful hosts Deb and Tom are very knowledgeable about the Juneau area and will help make your visit fun and unforgettable. They're always willing to share a cool beverage and some tall tales about Alaska and their worldly travels.

The Gold Room: $95/double occupancy

Stay 6 nights and the 7th night is free.

Policies

• Check In time is 3:00 pm. Check Out time is 12:00 noon.
• MC, VISA, traveler's checks, personal checks and cash are accepted.
• Deposit equal to one night's stay is required at the time reservation is made. Two nights' deposit required for extended stay.
• Cancellations must be received seven days prior to your arrival for a full refund or a charge of one night stay will apply.
• Minimum three night stay suggested for the Horizon Suite
• We can not accommodate pets.
• Smoking allowed only outside and on decks.

Directions

From either the airport of ferry terminal, head South on Egan Expressway towards downtown Juneau. Turn right onto the Douglas Island Bridge. Turn right onto North Douglas Highway and drive approximately 8 miles. Turn right onto Sundown Drive (the 3rd right-hand turn past the Eaglecrest Ski Area road sign). Make a left onto Horizon Drive and go about 1/4 mile. Look for the number 10730 (a large white house) on the waterside of the street.
